UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Multi-platinum selling group, 3T (Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson), set out to create a concert experience unlike anything their fans have ever known. After a stratospheric career in the 90’s and 00’s with over 3 million records sold, 3T took an extended hiatus to tend to education and family.  Now, they are ready to share this next chapter of their lives with loyal fans and introduce a whole new generation to the magic that is 3T. As part of the legendary music dynasty that includes Janet, Michael, their father, Tito and the rest of the Jackson 5, 3T is carrying on the family legacy through their own music.

The 3T UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL Experience is a show at the RAI Theater in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 16 September 2016. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the release of their monster hit, "Anything". To celebrate this landmark, the T’s decided to  create a show that was more intimate and interactive than their normal large scale production shows. Taj, Taryll and TJ are so excited to be able to bring this type of show to their fans and plan to use the show at the RAI as the blueprint for shows like this all around the world.

With a mixture of all the hits, stripped down versions of their songs and some never before performed songs, this show is something you will not want to miss out on! "The Jacksons Next Generation" is coming to the United Kingdom premiering exclusively on Lifetime (Sky 156 / Virgin 208 / Talk Talk 329 / BT 329) on Wednesday 6 January 2016 at 9pm.

As a tribute to Dee Dee Jackson, and honoring her everlasting imprint on the lives of so many, Taj, Taryll, and TJ have launched the Dee Dee Jackson Foundation. A non-profit organization built around the giving spirit and legacy of their mother.

With your help, we're helping children in need. The Dee Dee Jackson Foundation brings awareness, volunteers and donations to underfunded, under-served youth programs everywhere. Together, with the help of our diverse online community, we identify and illuminate stories of hope, courage and love. Stories that galvanize and mobilize. Stories that encourage and enable small, simple contributions that have a sizable impact on the lives of children—one dollar, one volunteer, one click, one cause at a time.

What we do
Through our online and personal communities, philanthropic partners, schools, churches, grass roots organizations and social media nominations, we work to identify THREE under-funded, lesser known, underdog youth programs, activists, and organizations annually to generate broader awareness, bolster fundraising, and mobilize volunteers to help transform lives.

How we do it
3 times a year, a new story, hand-picked from community submissions by Taj, TJ and Taryll—will be disseminated through social media outlets, viral sharing, video and grassroots efforts—accompanied by a 3-part plan for participation and involvement—based on a 3T-modeled program:

TIME (volunteerism) THOUGHT (education) TENDER (fundraise)

On a parallel path, we provide a digital/social outlet for children/adults/survivors to tell their own, related stories of fear, doubt, pain, loss, hope and courage— connecting over the featured issue and providing a means for others to feel less alone—and more hopeful about their futures. Weekly, social media Giveback Suggestions offer a roadmap for small, related charitable acts that are meaningful yet achievable. Ways to be a part of the conversation and, most importantly, the solution.

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 4, 2015) – Lifetime’s all-new docuseries The Jacksons: Next Generation (#JacksonsNextGen) focuses on the third generation of the famed Jackson family -- Taj, Taryll and TJ -- Tito Jackson’s sons and nephews of the famed Jackson 5. Premiering Friday, October 2, at 10PM ET/PT, the series features the brothers as they work to balance a career and their lives as traditional family men while living up to the pressures and demands that comes with their last name.

The siblings, known as the music group 3T, have toured and sold more than three million records worldwide just off their debut album. Still impacted by the loss of their mother, Dee Dee, the brothers are raising their children and managing the day-to-day tasks within their families, just like everyone else. Their quest for normalcy, however, often collides head-on with the good and bad of living with one of history’s most renowned last names. The series reveals what it’s like for them living with the last name Jackson including how they deal with constant rumors, stalkers, and frauds who all want a piece of anything and anyone related to the family’s legacy.

3T consists of:

TJ – With four children of his own, including a newborn son, TJ is also the legal co-guardian of his Uncle Michael’s kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket. It is a role he cherishes, but a role that is coming to define his life. Whether it’s negotiating contracts, working on music, or changing diapers, this family man’s plate is always full.

Taryll -- Constantly struggling to find a balance between his intense passion for music and taking the needed time to enjoy life around him, Taryll is a father to two boys and has a very complicated relationship with their mother. Approaching “The Big 4-0,” Taryll is on a mission to get control of his life.

Taj -- The eldest brother’s background is rooted in music. Taj fell in love with filmmaking while studying with his Uncle Michael. As he pursues both his career with 3T and movie directing, Taj is always standing up for his family’s legacy against the barrage of fake tabloid stories and insane comments made on social media.
